FBISE 12th Class Result 2026 – Federal Board HSSC Part 2
The FBISE 12th Class Result 2026 for HSSC Part-II / Class XII 1st Annual Examination has not yet been officially declared. As of 5 September 2026, the Federal Board has not announced a confirmed result date or time for this examination. The useful step students can take now is to keep their correct examination Roll Number ready. FBISE’s 2026 Roll Number Slip portal already allows candidates to recover it through their Full Name and Father Name or their Registration Number.
Lost Your FBISE Roll Number? Use the 2026 Slip Search Before Result Day
A missing Roll Number does not have to prevent a student from checking the HSSC-II result once FBISE activates the 2026 result cycle.
The Board’s current Annual Examinations 2026 Roll Number Slip system provides two ways to retrieve an examination record.
Candidates can search with:
- Full Name + Father Name, or
- Registration Number
If a matching record is found, the system can display the student’s Roll Number, name, father’s name and related examination details, with an option to print the roll slip.
This is especially useful for candidates who no longer have their original examination slip or cannot remember the exact Roll Number issued for the 1st Annual Examination.
There is an important difference between the slip service and the result service.
A Registration Number can be used to retrieve the roll slip, but current evidence does not establish Registration Number as a public HSSC-II result-search field.
The same distinction applies to Full Name and Father Name. These identifiers are confirmed on the 2026 Roll Number Slip portal. They should not automatically be described as HSSC-II result-search methods until the target 2026 result page goes live and exposes its own fields.
Students should therefore recover the examination Roll Number now and keep it available for result day.
The HSSC-II 2026 Result Page Has Not Been Activated Yet
FBISE’s result infrastructure is already processing other 2026 examination cycles, but the target HSSC Part-II 1st Annual Examination 2026 result has not been activated.
The current general result portal is showing SSC (Matric Tech) 1st Annual Examination 2026, not HSSC-II.
| FBISE HSSC-II 2026 item | Current position |
|---|---|
| 12th Class / HSSC-II result | Pending |
| Official declaration date | Not announced |
| Result time | Not announced |
| HSSC-II Gazette | Not released |
| Result statistics | Not released |
| Position holders | Not released |
The current FBISE result system visibly includes fields for Roll No and Student Name. That confirms those fields are part of the Board’s current result-platform design.
It does not yet prove that the HSSC-II 1st Annual 2026 result will support both fields in exactly the same way. The target examination cycle should be checked again when FBISE activates it.
For the same reason, this page does not currently claim result checking through CNIC, B-Form, Registration Number or institution code.
FBISE also uses SMS result services in some current 2026 examination cycles, including the 5050 service, but HSSC-II 1st Annual 2026 confirmation is still missing. It should not be presented as a guaranteed 12th Class result method before the Board publishes the relevant HSSC result instructions.
FBISE 12th Class 2026 Has Not Moved to the New 40% / 1200-Mark System
One of the easiest mistakes with the Federal Board’s 2026 HSSC information is to combine the new HSSC-I framework with the HSSC-II cohort.
They are not the same.
For the target HSSC-II 1st Annual 2026 examination, current FBISE evidence supports the existing framework linked to the Scheme of Studies 2006, with 1,100 marks for the complete HSSC scheme and the existing 33% qualifying requirement.
Where a subject contains theory and practical components, the applicable rules require the candidate to qualify those components according to the Board’s examination rules rather than relying only on the combined subject total.
The newer FBISE grading system does not apply to HSSC-II in 2026.
The Board’s implementation schedule separates the two parts of HSSC:
| HSSC level | 2026 position |
|---|---|
| HSSC-I / Class XI | New scheme and grading transition begins |
| HSSC-II / Class XII | Existing 33% / 1,100-mark framework continues |
The revised grading formula, which uses the newer 40%-based grade structure, begins for HSSC-II from the 1st Annual Examination 2027.
That means a Class XII student receiving the 2026 result should not interpret it through the newer HSSC-I grading framework merely because both examinations take place in the same calendar year.
The same applies to total marks.
The newer HSSC-I scheme is associated with a 1,200-mark HSSC structure, while the current HSSC-II 2026 cohort remains linked to the earlier 1,100-mark Scheme of Studies 2006.
So a blanket statement such as “FBISE HSSC 2026 total marks are 1,200” would mix two different cohort frameworks.
Current FBISE rules also provide limited grace-mark provisions in qualifying situations, but those conditions should be read from the applicable examination rules rather than treated as guaranteed additional marks for every candidate.
Recounting Checks the Marking Record; It Does Not Re-Evaluate the Answer
After the HSSC-II result is declared, a candidate who believes there may be a marking-record error can use FBISE’s recounting process.
This process is not open for the target HSSC-II 2026 result yet, because the result itself has not been announced.
FBISE’s rules make an important distinction: recounting does not mean reassessment or a fresh academic evaluation of the written answer.
The process can check matters such as:
- whether the grand total is correct,
- whether individual question totals were calculated correctly,
- whether marks were transferred correctly,
- whether any portion of an answer was left unmarked,
- whether the answer-book total matches the recorded marks,
- and whether the answer book or its pages show an irregularity.
The normal application period is 20 days from the result announcement. The rules also provide limited discretion for a further period in exceptional hardship cases.
The current FBISE fee system lists Rs.1,500 per paper for candidates in Pakistan and US$35 per paper for candidates abroad.
Applications and tracking are handled through the Board’s online services.
Once the HSSC-II 2026 result is released, candidates should use the dates in the result-specific FBISE notice rather than calculating a deadline from another examination cycle.
After the Result: Reappear, Improvement and Document Services
The correct post-result route depends on the student’s result status.
Under the current FBISE rules, a candidate failing two or fewer subjects may use the compartment/failure route and is allowed up to five subsequent attempts under the applicable conditions.
A candidate failing more than two subjects in HSSC-II is treated differently and may have to appear in all subjects of that examination in the next Annual Examination as a fresh candidate.
FBISE also permits improvement after passing HSSC. Current rules allow improvement in selected subjects or papers, Part-I, Part-II or the complete examination, subject to the Board’s conditions and the one-year period after passing.
The exact HSSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026 schedule has not yet been published, so no admission dates or examination date should be copied from SSC, HSSC 2025 or another board.
For students who already have a result but need an official record service, FBISE’s Public Facilitation Portal provides options such as:
- Duplicate Marks Sheet / Result Card
- Result Card Verification
- Certificate Verification
- Migration Certificate
- Result Cancellation
- Recounting Application
- Change of Subject or Group
These services are separate from the public result-search page and may require identifiers that are not public result-search methods.
FBISE Results Are Not Limited to Islamabad Institutions
The Federal Board is headquartered in Sector H-8/4, Islamabad, but its examination network is not limited to Islamabad.
FBISE affiliates SSC and HSSC institutions within Pakistan and abroad. Its current institutional system includes schools and colleges from different parts of Pakistan as well as affiliated institutions outside the country.
This matters for result users because a student studying at an FBISE-affiliated institution outside Islamabad can still belong to the Federal Board examination system.
There is no need to treat FBISE as a local Islamabad-only board.
For general support, FBISE lists its telephone exchange at +92-51-9269555 to 9269559 and inquiry numbers at +92-51-9269562 to 9269568.
Until the HSSC-II 1st Annual 2026 result is formally released, students should keep their Roll Number ready, rely on the official FBISE result portal for the target cycle, and avoid unconfirmed result dates, SMS instructions or grading rules taken from HSSC-I.
